About Kristina

Hi, I'm Kristina! I've been an elementary school teacher for 10 years. I've taught grades 3-5 in that time, but my heart is definitely with 3rd! I like to joke that while I’m technically currently a 5th grade teacher, I identify as a 3rd grade teacher :-) One day I will hopefully make it back to my favorite grade level.

I’m also a wife to my engineer husband and mother to my two kids: my 3 year old son Levi and my 1 year old daughter Kylie.

I started creating resources both for myself and to sell on Teachers Pay Teachers way back in 2014 on a very casual basis. However, in 2024, I decided to take it more seriously as an actual side business, and have absolutely loved it ever since. In the classroom, I focus heavily on building conceptual understanding and making learning fun and accessible for all students. I also focus heavily on differentiating my lessons so that all of my students can be successful. This has definitely carried over into the lessons I create and share with others!
